REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate trip in a massive scale, Industrial Food Service Unit in a health facility environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Incumbent need to be organized to work shifts which consist of weekends and public holidays. Incumbent ought to be healthful and robust sufficient to raise heavy objects and be on their toes the complete day. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of manufacturing for ordinary and therapeutic diets in an Industrial Foodservice Unit on a massive scale. Knowledge of hygiene, occupational health, HACCP and security principles.

DUTIES : Assist in the receipt and storage of all provisions and inventory in the foodservice unit. Pre practise and manufacturing of all everyday and therapeutic diets. Weighing, dishing and distribution of meals to quite a number wards. Cleaning of all areas, utensils and tools in the Food Service Department. Follow and adhere to Health and Safety prescripts. Follow and adhere to basic manage measures and trendy operational procedures.
