SALARY : R257 508 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits. The profitable candidate will be

REQUIREMENTS : Grade twelve (12). One (1) to three (3) years’ Secretarial journey or as an Office Assistant. A legitimate driver’s license; An LLB Degree or a minimal of 20 modules performed in the direction of an LLB, BA or BCom Law Degree will serve as an added gain and consequences need to accompany the application. Shortlisted candidates will be required to skip a typing test. Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in English. Good conversation capabilities (verbal and written). Administration and organizational skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to meet strict cut-off dates and to work underneath pressure. Attention to detail. Customer care carrier capabilities and incredible typing skills. Confidentiality and time management. Computer literacy (MS Word) and lookup capabilities.

DUTIES : Provide familiar secretarial/administrative responsibilities to the Judge. Typing (or format) of draft memorandum decision, opinions or judgement entries written via or assigned through Judge. Provide time-honored secretarial/administrative obligations to the Judge. Manage and kind correspondence, judgements and orders for the Judge (including dicta phone typing). Arrange and diarize appointments, conferences and legitimate visits and make tour and lodging arrangements. Safeguarding of all case files and the endorsement of case archives with an order made through Judge. Update archives and documents and supply copies of files to the Registrar. Perform digital recording of courtroom complaints on pressing courtroom instances after hours or on circuit court docket and make certain integrity of such recordings. Store, hold and file courtroom archives safely. Accompany the Judge to the court. Management of Judge’s vehicle, logbook and driving thereof. Compile information and put together reviews and archives for assigned Judges as necessary; along with price reports, persevering with prison hours, financial
disclosure statements and case management. Arrange refreshments for the Judge and his or her site visitors and attend to their needs. Management of Judge’s library and updating of documentation. Execute criminal lookup as directed via the Judge and comply with departmental prescripts, policies, approaches and guidelines.
