Good problem-solving skills; Good presentation skills; Excellent verbal exchange capabilities (verbal and written) in, especially, English; Strong analytical skills; Skills in the interpretation of statutes and in conducting research; Above-average computer literacy; Willingness to work irregular hours.

DUTIES : The incumbent will be accountable to draft and/or amend prison archives such as regulation that is administered by using the Department, and pilot such rules via Parliament; Comment on draft law of different departments, when requested; Provide criminal advice, preparation and opinions on legal things to the Minister, Senior Management and the relaxation of the Department; Provide legislative assist to provincial training departments; Monitor, coordinate and evaluate the superb implementation of training legislation; Assist assignment managers with criminal guide in regard to contracts; Ensure compliance with PAIA, PAJA and POPI; Provide prison schooling to departmental officials; Conduct, analyse, interpret, and recommend on lookup that will grant records and case regulation applicable to the felony remember at hand; Draft criminal archives and propose on the drafting of prison archives that provide clear motivation/ justification for a precise position; Collect statistics and information, analyse and translate data into know-how for planning, selection making or administration reporting and to talk and distribute to unique audiences, the usage of a range of statistics and verbal exchange applied sciences (e.g. intranet, e-mail, videoconferencing, telecommunications, etc.) in order to grant and speak statistics for choice making, reporting, file storage and planning; Carry out any different applicable obligations as instructed.
