REQUIREMENTS : ABET stage four or NQF degree 1 to three with no experience. Knowledge of Food offerings & meals preparation, Operation of meals processing equipment, Basic fitness & safety measures, Health environment, Hygiene & bacterial illness manage measures. Basic literacy, Ability to function meals processing equipment, Measure accurately.

DUTIES : Render catering services: Follow menus and distinct weight loss plan plans. Prepare elements for foods e.g. cleansing and slicing vegetables, put together meat, hen and fish. Process/cook organized substances for consumption. Serve organized meals in the relevant crockery. Ensure that parts served are in accordance to the stipulated dietary allowances. Pack meals transport trolleys and supply to applicable areas in the fitness institution. Ensure that the right foods are delivered to the right areas in the institution. Maintain safe and hygienic environment: Collect used cutlery and crockery from wards and different provider areas. Check that the right wide variety of cutlery and crockery have been again to the kitchen. Wash and dry used equipment, cutlery and crockery. Perform quality checks to make sure that the cleansing method has been carried out in accordance to standard. Pack and shop smooth meals processing equipment. Clean the meals processing location at normal intervals at some stage in the day. Perform normal tests to set up whether or not security and sanitation requirements are being adhered to.
