REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification (NQF degree three or equivalent) as identified with the aid of South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Five (5) years’ riding experience. Valid Driver’s licence (a minimal of Code EC Driver’s license) with the exception of candidates with disabilities. Competencies: Communication,
Ability to study and write, Good eyesight, Team work, Operation of the equipment, Physical inspection of automobiles and interpret guidelines for suited use of all controls for protected operation of vehicles. Interpret and observe running manuals, upkeep manuals and carrier charts.

DUTIES : Drive Heavy obligation vehicles: Transportation of work groups and materials/ equipment, Detect and restore minor mechanical troubles on the motors and take steps to have it repaired (check degree and circumstance of oil, fuel, tyres and water), Inspection of the vehicles/ tools and record defects, Complete car logbook, day trip authorization for the vehicle.
