Requirements
Grade 12 qualification.
You should be 18 years and older.
Must now not go through from concern of restrained areas and heights
Must be bodily fit
Previous journey in a fire-related enterprise would be advantageous
Ability to work in a group and cope with traumatic situations
No crook record
Must be possession of a Code B(08) driver’s license.
Candidates will be required to correctly entire the required education for firefighters,
namely Firefighter 1, Hazmat Awareness and First Aid stage 3.
Candidates want to skip a bodily evaluation comprising of the following:
Reach test
2.4 Km run inside prescribed time
Push-ups
Sit-ups
Dead load carry
Ladder climb
Claustrophobia/Acrophobia test.
Candidates need to additionally skip a written evaluation which covered Mathematics and
Comprehension, behavioural evaluation and clinical assessment PRIOR to appointment.
Special Conditions
Only contract positions handy for length of training.
