SALARY : R1 521 591 per annum, (An all-inclusive annual remuneration package). The
remuneration package deal consists of a fundamental revenue (70% of package), State’s
contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund (13% of simple salary) and
a bendy element which can be structured in accordance to the individual’s personal
needs.

CENTRE : Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification in Natural or Physical Sciences or Environmental Management or applicable qualification and a submit graduate qualification (NQF level 8) as identified through SAQA. Extensive journey in the applicable field. Applicants must have eight -10 years of ride at senior administration level. Knowledge of environmental, tourism and improvement problems (globally, regionally, locally). Experience in global liaison and coordination, an focus of SA and government’s priorities. Knowledge of strategic coordination and planning. Understanding of chance administration and audit procedures. Knowledge of policy development and enterprise technique management. Understanding of change management and economic management. Programme and Project Management skills. Sound organising, planning and management skills. Excellent communication, analytical, innovative, hassle solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under stress and lengthy hours. Proof of completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme as advocated via National School of Government (NSG).

DUTIES : Provide average management and directing of the Branch: Biodiversity and Conservation via making sure the strategic administration and co-ordination as nicely as the profitable functioning of the Branch. Manage the biodiversity conserved, protected and threats mitigated and extended compliance with environmental legislation. Plan, manage, shield and preserve the country’s organic resources and ecosystems for human well-being and sustainable development. Ensure a nature-based biodiversity economic system thru suitable policies, regulation and programmes. Promote and alter sustainable use, as properly as truthful and equitable sharing of advantages springing up from utilisation of organic resources.
