FOOD SERVICES AID

SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Prince Albert Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate journey in making ready affected person ingredients in hospitals environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Physically sturdy to elevate heavy objects and be on their ft the whole day. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, beyond regular time and public holidays. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good conversation skills. Self- disciplined, motivated, sober habits, willingness to strengthen capabilities and bear training. Ability to read, write and interpret recipes to put together foods to be served and be capable to use an electronic kitchen scale. Appropriate understanding of simple cleansing and renovation of equipment used in the Food Service Unit.

DUTIES : Provision of meals services, consisting of pre-preparation & education of everyday and exclusive diets as properly as dishing up and distribution of the meals. Assist with the receiving and storage of perishables and groceries. Implement and manipulate hygienic surroundings in accordance to occupational fitness and security prescripts which includes contamination control. Assist with the upkeep of home equipment and equipment. Assist with the casual in-service coaching of new personnel in the unit.
