SALARY : R151 884 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirements: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) /grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate cleaning, linen, and housekeeping trip in a medical institution environment. Appropriate supervisory experience. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and time beyond regulation when required to make sure the nice provision of services. Willingness to bear formal/informal in-service coaching and to teach subordinates. Ability to
communicate (read, write, and speak) in at least two of the three legit languages of the Western Cape. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Basic pc literacy. Ability to manage, supervise and self-discipline body of workers contributors and to optimally utilise housekeeping and laundry staff. Knowledge and perception of medical institution waste management, linen management, Infection Prevention and Control, and OHS. Must have ideal working know-how of all cleansing and housekeeping policies, protocols, procedures, and of inventory/stock control.

DUTIES : Responsible for typical control, organising, performing, and coordinating duties associated to housekeeping, linen, waste administration and keeping a excessive trendy of cleanliness and hygiene inside the hospital. Audit and consider medical institution hygiene standards. Management of contamination manage and fitness and security policies. Good interpersonal relationships with all individuals of the multidisciplinary crew together with shriveled group of workers such as cleaning, pest control, and waste management. Supervise and make sure the nice use and renovation of supplies, equipment, and linen in accordance with rules and policies. Responsible for the management and supervision of housekeeping and laundry staff, including performance administration and disciplinary processes. Effective help to supervisor and different departments in the hospital.
