REQUIREMENTS : Relevant degree/ countrywide diploma in Agriculture (Plant Production) or equal qualification. Experience in animal manufacturing will be an introduced advantage. Seven (7) years applicable ride received in a supervisory post. Successful completion of Corrections Science learnership/ Basic Training. Valid driver’s license. Computer literate. Competencies and Attributes: Sound understanding of plant manufacturing processes, agricultural planning, operations and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of agricultural administration, data management, mission and programme management. Good monetary management, communication, transformation management, exchange management, stakeholder management, hassle fixing and evaluation skills. Service shipping innovation, choice making, humans administration and empowerment, group leadership, coverage interpretation, facilitation skills, presentation skills, mentoring and coaching. In depth appreciation of safety and protection in a correctional surroundings and the use of applicable security technology. Integrity and honesty, confidentiality and precise interpersonal relations. Knowledge of the Correctional Services Act, Act 111 of 1998, as amended, agricultural and different applicable legislations, insurance policies and procedures. Assertiveness, capacity to community and diplomacy.
DUTIES : Maintain agricultural provider requirements in animal/plant manufacturing and
agricultural administration for animal/plant production. Adherence with relevant legislations, agricultural coverage and coverage procedures. Implementation of self-sufficiency and sustainability with regards to agriculture production. Manage agricultural labour, environment, agricultural machinery, gear and occupational fitness and safety. Quality evaluation of agricultural services. Management of human resources, finances, and assets. Management of overall performance information.
