Who Can Apply?
Applicants have to be:
Residents of one of the host communities: Bekkersdaal, Zuurberkom, Thusanang, Hillshaven, Westonaria, Poortjie, Simunye, Kalbasfontein, or Jachtfontein
OR
Individuals who have efficiently accomplished Grade 12 at a faculty located in one of the above host communities.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF 4) or N3 qualification (with two languages passed)
Minimum of two years’ journey in a mining operation
Declared medically suit for the function and surroundings thru a risk-based scientific examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre
Pass a Heat Tolerance Screening and different applicable suitability tests
Key Competencies and Responsibilities
Abide via all mine fitness and security regulations
Undergo technical coaching as prescribed with the aid of MQA/DMRE
Maintain overall performance in scheduled technical evaluations
Take accountability for profession improvement and actively interact with education and oversight teams
Follow agency policies, code of conduct, and uphold values: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Innovation, Collaborative Delivery
Promote teamwork and tremendous communication
Proficient in English (oral and written)
